The Fighting Man

Gord is a former SAS soldier and veteran of the Gulf War who was disgusted at how the Kurds were betrayed by the West. He goes to the aid of Guatemalan resistance fighters who are also caught up in their own hopeless war. Against the odds he starts to make a difference.

Reluctantly forced to fight against him is another Gulf War vet, an American helicopter pilot who owes Gord his life. Back in the UK Gord is considered an embarrassment and Cathy Parker of MI5 finds herself disobeying orders to try to save his life.

One of Seymour’s best books of the 1990s.
